Meet Dr. Waleed A. Clark
I grew up in Oklahoma City, where my father was a general dentist. It was in his office where I realized that continuing in his footsteps was the right choice for me. I saw firsthand how much his patients appreciated his compassion and dedication to their health, and knew that I wanted to experience the same thing from my own patients.
Working with children is such a joy! Their smiles, personalities, and excitement make each and every day special. I work hard to ensure my patients’ first dental experiences are positive. Knowing that their time spent in our office sets them up for a lifetime of oral health is extremely rewarding.
Education and Continuing Education
I completed my undergraduate education at Hampton University and continued to dental school at Howard University’s College of Dentistry, the fifth-oldest dental school in the nation. There, I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. My hands-on experience and training were extended during my general practice residency at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York, and my pediatric dentistry residency at Brookdale University Hospital Center, also in Brooklyn.
It is my mission to stay on top of the newest developments in dental technology and techniques, including sedation and behavior modification, to help provide a comfortable experience for my young patients. I continue my education through memberships with the:
- American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
- American Dental Association
- North Carolina Dental Society
Outside the Office
My wife and I have lived in Greensboro for more than a decade. We’ve loved making this wonderful community our home; it’s such a fantastic place to live! We have two children: a young son and younger daughter. Both kids are very active!
When I’m not in the office, I love watching sports, fishing, gardening, spending time with the family outside, and playing with the kids.
